Esta semana hemos terminado la preparacion de la propuesta para un nuevo proyecto dentro del programa Grundtvig de la Union Europea. En coordinacion con el IHAD (Centro de Investigacion sobre Derechos Humanos, en Turquia), el IMIR (Instituto para las Migraciones, en Alemania) y CEIPES (Centro Internacional para la promocion de la Educacion, en Italia), vamos a trabajar en la preparacion de un proyecto web y una formacion especifica para miembros de ONGs y especialistas en derechos humanos sobre la problematica de los refugiados y sus necesidades en la integracion en la nueva realidad a la que se enfrentan cuando encuentran acogida en un nuevo pais.

El proyecto aun esta pendiente de ser aprobado, pero esperamos que recibiremos el visto bueno para sacarlo adelante, ya que nos parece extremadamente interesante centralizar, a nivel europeo, conocimientos y experiencias que puedan ser compartidas por todos aquellos que trabajan en la integracion de immigrantes y refugiados en la Union Europea.

We have finished this week the preparation of a proposal for a new project within the Grundtvig Program, from the European Union. In coordination with IHAD (Human Rights Research Center, in Turkey), the IMIR (Institute for Migrations, in Germany), and CEIPES (International Center for promotion of the Education, in Italy), we will begin working in the creation of a website and a training curriculum for NGO members and Human Rights professionals about refugee problems and their needs, as they try to integrate in the new reality they find when reaching any of the European Union’s member states.

The project is still pending of approval, but we hope we will get the go ahead to implement it, as we believe it is extremely interesting and useful to concentrate in one single portal, at European level, knowledge and experiences that can be shared by anyone working on refugees and immigration issues.

Acostumbrados como estamos a usar las nuevas tecnologias, las ultimas novedades en web 2.0, las redes sociales y todas esas aplicaciones online que hacen nuestro trabajo mas facilmente compartible y visible en general, no podiamos sino dejar de crear un blog propio, algo mas interactivo y dinamico que nuestra seccion de noticias en la pagina de RESPECT, para daros a conocer y compartir con todos vosotros nuestras actividades y proyectos, y como no, permitiros participar e interactuar en ellas directamente desde casa, con vuestro teclado.

En este blog iremos comentando todo aquello que va sucediendo en nuestra entidad, un poco para que nos conozcais desde dentro, os iremos informando del trabajo diario que hacemos, de los proyectos que preparamos, de las iniciativas que se nos ocurren y todo aquello que llevamos a cabo. Asi que desde ya os invitamos a que os suscribais al blog, nos pongais en favoritos o nos visiteis regularmente para no perderos nada de lo que aqui esperamos ir publicando.

Being as we are to use any single application related to internet, web 2.0, social networks and all those tools that make our job easier, it was just a matter of time that we launched our own blog, a bit more interactive and dynamic than our news section in our main website, to let you know and share with all of you our activities and projects, and of course, to allow you participate and share with us your comments and ideas.
